The Astros are the World Champions!! And now their back to defend their title. Houston couldn’t be prouder. We had a great time rooting for them last year, cheering for them during the Parade and celebrating their victory in Downtown Houston. The streets filled up right after their win.
Opening Day is here. Whether you are going to the game or not, you’ll want to be Downtown in the Heart of the Action.
COME DOWNTOWN AND CELEBRATE WITH THE CITY!!!!
We will continue to post updates to this page. Including anything we hear about from the City of Houston, the Houston Astros organization, local downtown NGOs and Downtown businesses.
If you hear anything, feel free to share it with us. We will only post information that we know to be factual and complete.
You are welcome to collect all this information yourself from all the various sources but why would you when we are doing all the work for you for free!! We want to know so we are painstakingly gathering all of this information into an easy to read format. Then we are sharing it with our friends. Feel free to do the same. If you mark going or interested you will automatically get the updates. If you RSVP, we’ll email you updates.

FAMILY FRIENDLY: The Astros Opening Day street fest is from “1:00pm – 5:30 pm at the Opening Day Street Fest, presented by Budweiser, as we start the 2018 season off with your reigning World Series Champs! This event will feature music, games, food and more! A 4/2 game ticket is required for entry into the Street Fest.” As far as we can tell, it is family friendly. Some of the businesses around Minute Maid Park and the Market Square Park area are 21 and up.
